Sister Style: Almost Autumn

11111Summer is starting to feel over. We still have some days left to wear sandals and crop tops and short dresses without tights. But not for long. Who's excited for the fall? I don't know what it is about autumn, but it's probably the most inspiring time of year. Or is it just me? As soon as autumn hits we feel like staying up late to finish projects. It's time to break out and start on those holiday crafts and gift ideas. Not to mention fall has to be THE time of year for baking. Bring on the pumpkin spice everything internet, we're ready for you!

  • this is one of my favorite sister styles. you girls look great! I can’t wait to see what you come up with in the autumn months. it’s my favorite time of year for fashion!

  • You both look gorgeous as always! My style icons for sure!

  • Nope, totally in denial about Autumn, although the weather in the UK has been almost wintery lately. I’d like a few more weeks of summer before I embrace Fall please! I love the giraffe scarf though, if you/Modcloth ever bring it back please let me know!

  • You both look so beautiful! I love the colour of Didier’s bag! xxx

  • High waist modest skirts with crop tops really are the best. Also, love that giraffe print scarf! I always think I can’t wear scarves but then I see this sort of a ‘do and remember I have bangs now and maybe, just maybe, I CAN rock something like this!

  • Lovely photo shoot as usual!

I love the Fall time too (yet I live in Jamaica?!) LOL – but we also get a very slight change of weather, the leaves go very gold and the sunlight is different, as well as much sharper sunsets! (and cooler temperatures)

Thanks for inspiring us and cannot wait to see what is coming up on the Blog for Fall & Christmas.

  • I am in love with that giraffe print headband! You guys look adorable. I have to admit I am really look forward to dressing for fall!

  • OMG Helen is looking just like Zooey Deschanelin in those rocking shades. u gals are completely rocking the outfits

  • I love both of your oufits they are so beyond perfect! I am excited for fall as well. I love getting creative and incorporating my summer clothes into my fall wardrobe!

    xo, Juliette Laura

  • Gotta love that headband! I’ve been all about scarf/headbands/wraps this summer, they’re the best!

I just posted pictures from my sisters bridal shower this weekend, I used a few recipes you guys posted and they were a hit, of course!

  • I love those sunglasses. It screams: I’m here to have some fun. I am looking for new sunglasses as my old pair broke. Will need them desperately for a camping trip coming up in September!

  • I absolutely agree what you said about autumn!! I used to dislike this season of the year, but for the last two or three years I’m getting more and more excited about it!!
Oh, and your outfits are gorgeous as always!

  • I love both outfits- the colors work so well together! I’m a huge fan of summer and while I am sad the long, lazy, breezy days are coming to an end, I cannot wait for fall. The holiday season brings so much cheer!

  • Love the crop top/long demin skirt combo! It’s gonna be hot in LA for a while, so I am not quite ready to transition to full fall mode.

  • Oh fall, you are so good, even if you mean the end of summer.
the orange season is my favorite, mostly. i’m also embarrassed at how long i spent pining christmas images yesterday. i kept them on a secret board so no one would see.

  • Super awesome sunnies Helen! 🙂
and autumn is the best season for sure.
    keep up your amazing work.

  • The close-ups of Helen look like a mix of Julia Roberts and Audrey Hepburn. So pretty, both of you!

  • Love that look Helen, very pretty and charming, perfect for a transition into fall!
    Many kisses

  • First of all, I love your guys’ purses! So perfect. And Helen, those glasses look amazing on you! I’m glad they also remind you of your grandma 🙂

  • You both look amazing as always! Helen, how did you do your hair? Looks lovely and bet it would look great without the turban too xx

  • Definitely digging the pops of color with both of your bags! Such great looks!

  • Such great looks! Love the bags. And YES to the pumpkin. Nothing says autumn like a good pumpkin EVERYTHING.

  • Autumn over here is the time of year when I start anticipating some coolness in our weather (it’s always hot, none the less. the tropics!), by the way Helen, love your hair, you should totally do a tutorial for that bun!

  • Love the skirt in the first outfit and the retro feel in the second one. Great style xx

  • You both look great. Love your top Didier! 🙂 Can’t wait for some PSLs 🙂

  • Love love LURVE Helen’s outfit! Especially the headband and the glasses! I’ve been trying to find the perfect cat eye glasses for my square-shaped face, myself, but no luck so far! Very jealous of you ladies who look amazing in them!

  • These have to be some of my favorite shots of Didier. They are adorably gorgeous!!

And Else, one of my FAVORITE outfits you have ever posted. Wowza.

  • Oh gosh no. Say it ain’t so. I’m in complete denial that summer is going to end. I’ll be the last person to be out without a sweater!

  • Has no one noticed how funny the last two shots look next to each other? Helen’s arm and sleeve match up making for a very strange look!! Love those little coincidences!
